These Simple Eating Tips Can Make A Big Difference

Proper Nutrition Is A Must For A Fit Body
If you want the confidence to take your shirt off at the beach or walk around in bikini, you better be watching your diet. Eating right is the most important thing when trying to lose weight or get into shape.

Without a healthy diet, all your exercising is basically for nothing. You can do all the sit ups you want and spend countless hours doing cardio in the gym and see absolutely no results if you diet consists of fast food, pizza, and frozen dinners.

Here a five foods you should be trying to get into your diet on a daily basis.

  • Fruits (Apples, Oranges, Grapes, Bananas, Kiwis)
  • Vegetables (Peppers, Carrots, Green Beans, Broccoli)
  • Whole Grains (Whole Wheat Breads and Pastas, Brown Rice, Potatoes)
  • Lean Meats (Chicken, Lean Cuts Of Steak, Fish, Turkey)
  • Healthy Fats (Almonds, All Natural Peanut Butter, Olive Oil, Hummus)


Its Not That Hard
Eating healthy is not that hard, but it does require a little bit of attention. If you can read a food label and actually take the time at the grocery store to look at what your buying then your already ahead of the game.

Most people really do know how to eat healthy, they just don't take the time to concentrate on their diet and make consistent changes. Simply thinking ahead just a little bit can do wonders for ones eating habits. 

Here are a few simple things you can do to improve your diet on a daily basis. 
  1. Pre-cook chicken for salads and wraps. Grill or bake 3 to 4 pounds of boneless skinless chicken breasts and dice it all up. Know you have healthy chicken on tap for salads, wraps, or sandwiches. 
  2. Take a lunch to work. To many people think that when they get out of grade school that they can't pack there lunches anymore. Simply packing your own lunch with healthy sandwiches and snacks can do wonders for you diet.
  3. Snack smarter. Believe it or not, there are tons of healthy and delicious snacks out there you can eat guilt free. Beef jerky, cinnamon almonds, baked potato chips and baked crackers are just a few healthy snacks you should think about adding to your diet. 
Take Consistent Action
Getting fit is about consistency. Be it exercising or dieting (and it should be both), getting into a routine and doing it over and over again is the only way you will see the results you want. 

Some days it is going to suck and you are gonna hate the gym or feel like eating a bunch of pizza, but if you want to meet your goals and improve your life by just a little bit, you will suck it up and do what you know you should. 

Here are some helpful tips that should keep you motivated.
  • Write down your goals and look at them often. Read them a loud if you have to, but make sure those goals stay fresh in your mind. 
  • Surf you tube for some motivational videos. This sounds a little corny, but there are some really good motivational videos on You Tube if you take some time to look. 
  • Keep a fitness journal. Track your progress so you can see how far you have come. You will be surprised at what can be done in just 30 days. 
Its All Up To You 
You have control over your diet and no one else, so its all up to you to start making the necessary choices to eat right and get fit. Your a grown up and it's time to start eating like one. Its that simple.
